  • Planned a 20-piece “Ultimate City-by-the-Sea” series covering best beaches, historic quarters and hidden foodie spots.

  • Clustered each article around a distinct traveller mindset – CouplesFamiliesThrill-seekers – to match real search intent.

  • Broke long articles into scannable blocks: map embeds, mini-FAQs, cost tables, tide-time widgets.

SEO

  • Deep keyword research with intent mapping (Perplexity, Reddit threads, TripAdvisor forums).

  • Internal hub-and-spoke linking: each beach guide pushed readers to a contextual coupon carousel (“Save €20 on hotel bookings”).

  • Earned 22 new referring domains through outreach to local tourism boards and niche travel blogs.

Strategy

  • Social listening surfaced frustrations (“Which beach is stroller-friendly?” “Where’s legal wild camping?”). We shaped sub-headers to answer those verbatim questions.
  • Schema FAQ, jump-links, and original images compressed for Core Web Vitals. Average Time-on-Page rose from 01:12 to 03:08.
  • Scheduled Pinterest “story” pins and micro-videos on Instagram Reels, driving secondary backlinks and branded searches.
